Department of Pharmacy Practice & Science
This component of the Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum allows student pharmacists to gain experience, apply knowledge and skills, and gain professional competence and confidence by delivering contemporary pharmaceutical care and completing other profession-related experiences under the supervision of preceptors.
Students are required to complete eight practice experiences (four required and four elective).
The APPE occur in the final year of the curriculum. These are commonly referred to as "rotations" and run from May to May.
An organizational layout of all practice experiences (APPE and IPPE) can be found by clicking HERE.
