He recently served as vice president of finance at Pearson in Iowa City, and brings over seventeen years of extensive experience and knowledge in budget and finance, including strong strategic leadership and planning.
Wise holds a Master of Science in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Virginia Tech and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Michigan.
His wife Meliza works in Finance for the Department of Internal Medicine at University of Iowa Health Care. They have one child attending college and another a senior in high school. Free time is absorbed in family and community activities.
