On Dec. 9, student pharmacists and the Iowa City Police Department teamed up to promote the city's drug disposal program and "take back box."

Disposing of prescription medications safely can prevent the misuse and abuse of prescription medications. Students educated the public on the importance of proper drug disposal during the event, which was part of a national program called Generation Rx.
