University of Iowa College of Pharmacy Celebrates Class of 2015
On May 14, 2015, the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy conferred Doctor of Pharmacy degrees on 108 graduates in its annual commencement ceremony. These graduates represent the highest-caliber pharmacists in the world, with the scientific and patient care knowledge to maneuver today’s complex health care needs.
Dean Donald E. Letendre and Associate Dean Michael W. Kelly were joined by University of Iowa President Sally Mason in presenting the degrees. Stephen Mullenix, ’74 BSPh, Senior Vice President, National Council for Prescription Drug Programs, was the guest speaker. Madelyn Yassen, graduating class president, was the student speaker.
Additionally, the college celebrated its PhD graduates during the annual Graduate College Commencement on May 15. This ceremony was led by John Keller, associate provost for graduate and professional education and Graduate College dean, and President Sally Mason, who was the speaker.
The University of Iowa College of Pharmacy educates the next generation of leaders in pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences through discovery and growth, building excellence, and achieving outcomes that matter.
