Recognizing Our Best

Each year, the College of Pharmacy presents awards to those members of our community who have made outstanding accomplishments in pharmacy achievement, leadership and service to the profession, the society, and the college.

Two Distinguished Alumni Awards are presented annually. One award is given for achievement in professional practice, and one for achievement in the academic community or in industry.

Additionally, the college selects one recipient for the Honorary Alumni Award each year. The criteria are similar to that of the Distinguished Alumni Award, however the recipient is not a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy.
