Logging IPPE 4 Activities (Students)

Main Tab

  1. Select PxDx from the top menu ribbon
  2. Select Add New
  3. Enter the appropriate information in the follwoing fields on the Main tab (*=Required Field):
  • Date of Patient Experience*:  enter the date of the activity
  • Course/Rotation*:  select 46:004 Student Pharmacist Professionalism - IPPE 4 (you will not receive credit if this is not selected)
  • Site*:  select UICOP
  • Setting:  select if applicable (i.e. Free Clinic or Health Fair)
  • Patient Encounter Type:  most likely Real Patient Care – Multiple Patients for Professional Service and Non-Patient Care Activity for Professional Leadership
  • Patient Gender*:  most likely Multiple Patients for Professional Service and Not Applicable for Professional Leadership
  • Patient Age*:  most likely Multiple Patients for Professional Service and Not Applicable for Professional Leadership
  • Ethnicity*:  most likely Multiple Patients for Professional Service and Not Applicable for Professional Leadership
  • Pts (use when selecting Multiple Patients):  enter the number of patients when selecting Multiple Patients for Patient GenderPatient Age, or Ethnicity
  • Time Involved:  enter the amount of time you are requesting credit for
  • Supervisor*:  select Jenny Seyfer (Do not select the name of the pharmacist/preceptor who signed the IPPE 4 Verification form)
  • Notes:  enter any notes about the event in this section (information regarding sponsoring organization and event location would be entered here)

 

Interventions Tab

  1. Select the Interventions tab
  2. Select the appropriate Intervention Group from the Group dropdown (IPPE 4 to view all IPPE 4 interventions, IPPE 4 Professional Leadership to only view Professional Leadership interventions, and IPPE 4 Professional Service to only view Professional Service interventions)
  3. Select the activity you participated in from the Intervention box
  4. Select 1. Performed from the Role dropdown
  5. Select Add Intervention

 

Review Tab

  1. Select the Review tab
  2. Review your entry and select Save Record (IF YOU DO NOT SAVE, ALL OF YOUR INFORMATION WILL BE LOST)
