UI-ACCP will be hosting an event to educate the public on the importance of staying knowledgeable about their medications. Pharmacy students will be available to help patients create pocket-size medication lists and answer any questions about medication safety.

Student pharmacists will offer free Saturday Mental Health Clinics while volunteering at the Iowa City Community Mental Health Clinic this spring. Volunteers will conduct free medication reconciliation with patients referred by their community therapist or psychologist.

The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) will hold its monthly chapter meeting on Monday, March 9. The chapter will meet to discuss how to better implement NCPA in the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy.
