Robert Egeland is the vice president of pharmacy at Hy-Vee, Inc. He has been an employee of Hy-Vee for 30 years.
Mr. Egeland has served on a number of Advisory Councils including: the University of Missouri- Kansas City Dean’s Advisory Council, the University of South Dakota State Dean’s Advisory Council, the Drake University School of Pharmacy National Advisory Council, the Topco Aggregate Pharmacy Initiative Advisory Council, and the Abbott Laboratories New Product(s) Advisory Council. His committee experience includes: the Missouri Senior Rx Advisory Committee, the FMI Pharmacy Affairs Committee, the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Regional Chain Conference Committee, and the Drake University College of Pharmacy Student Admissions Committee. He also was on the Wolters Kluwer Health Advisory Board, the Anda Pharmaceuticals Advisory Board, the Health Access Partnership Board of Directors, and the Lomar Foods Board of Directors. Mr. Egeland’s involvement with the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) includes the Pharmacy Industry Council and Policy Council.
Mr. Egeland received his bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Drake University in 1979. He is licensed in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
