On March 30, 2016, Medicinal Chemistry PhD candidate Ioana Craciun successfully defended her thesis to the Division of Medicinal and Natural Products Chemistry.

Ioana's thesis title was “Inhibition of Neutrophil Serine Proteases by N-arylacyl O-sulfonated Aminoglycosides: New Therapeutic Approach to Treat Inflammatory Lung Diseases.”
