Ryan Frerichs, '01 PharmD, thinks there’s no better time than now for community pharmacies to band together as networks to offer enhanced services to patients as the health care system moves away from fee-for-service payment and toward value-based care models.

His pharmacy, Meyer Pharmacy in Waverly, Iowa, was one of the first pharmacies to become part of a Community Pharmacy Enhanced Services Network (CPESN) in Iowa.
