Researchers at the University of Iowa—including Gary Milavetz, UI Executive Associate Dean and Professor in the College of Pharmacy—are testing how cannabis affects driving performance at the UI's National Advanced Driving Simulator.

An outside company is interested in using the results to develop an app to test pre-driving cannabis impairment levels.

Milavetz was among researchers interviewed in a recent Daily Iowan article.
