The University of Iowa’s annual Health Sciences Research Week was held the week of April 2. The event, hosted by the Carver College of Medicine, focused on neuroscience and featured several of the field’s leading researchers.

Several scholars from the College of Pharmacy participated in the week’s poster session. Of the participants, two winners were named from the college:

  • Yu-Yu Tien, John Brooks, Brian Link, Kara Wright, and Elizabeth Chrischilles (graduate student category) for the poster entitled “Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) in the Elderly: Use of Chemotherapy and Rituximab and Associated Survival”.
  • Kristi Dimke, Teri Swenson, Tami Argo, and Jason Egge (resident/postdoctoral fellow category) for the poster entitled “Pharmacist Management of Depression: Comparison with Usual Care”.
