On  July 19, Emad Wafa successfully defended his master's thesis to the Division of Pharmaceutics and Translational Therapeutics.

His thesis title was “The Composition of Polyanhydrides Used in Particle-Based Cancer Vaccines Affects the Magnitude of the Antitumor Immune Response.” His advising professor was Aliasger Salem.
