The University of Iowa College of Pharmacy has seven core regularly-occurring international rotations: in Belize, Dominica, Jamaica, South Korea, two locations in Japan, and beginning in 2017, Romania. Each rotation fulfills one of the five-week practice experiences—called Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPEs)—that fourth-year students complete in various pharmacy settings.

The application process typically opens in September of the P3 year.
