Jennifer Wick is a clinical patient aligned care team pharmacist the VA Cedar Rapids primary clinic. She is also an adjunct assistant professor for the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy and a preceptor at the Cedar Rapids community-based outpatient clinic practice site for APPE and IPPE rotation students. She has attended many collaborative conferences for the VA patient aligned care team model, as well as participating in shared medical appointments. Her primary areas of interest include primary care and lipid management.
Prior to her current position, Wick worked as an outpatient staff pharmacist at the Iowa City VA Medical Center.
She has been a member of Johnson County Pharmacy Association for many years and served as trustee from 2011-2013. She participated in the VA’s LEAD Program in 2008-2009, as well as the Iowa Pharmacy Association’s Leadership Pharmacy Conference in 2010.
Wick received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in 2002 and in 2011, Jennifer earned the Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist designation.
