Dr. Schroeder received her BS in Physics from Texas A&M University and a PhD in economics from Emory University. She currently holds an appointment in the Division of Health Services Research.
Research Narrative
Dr. Schroeder's main research area is the economics of health and healthcare, with an emphasis in how information and incentives affect treatment decisions. Her work focuses on the two leading causes of death: cancer and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Schroeder uses quantitative and qualitative methods to study real-world decisions and the impact of treatment choice on outcomes.
