Bob J. Greenwood of Waterloo is a dedicated leader in the pharmacy profession and his community.
Greenwood, a graduate of Omaha’s Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions, is a pharmacist, pharmacy owner, and longtime Waterloo City Council member. Greenwood and his wife, Chery, own three pharmacies: Greenwood Drug in Waterloo; Denver Drug in Denver, Iowa; and Greenwood’s Compounding Center in Waterloo. They are also partners in two other practices: Martin Health Services Pharmacy in Denver, Iowa; and, Reinbeck Pharmacy in Reinbeck, Iowa. Greenwood is actively involved in health care issues on local, state, and national levels.
He is currently a member of and President‐Elect of the Iowa Pharmacy Association (IPA). He has served as an officer and director for the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA), and as its president in 2010‐11. Greenwood is a member of the APhA.
He has received two prestigious awards by the pharmacy profession: The Bowl of Hygeia in 2011 from the IPA and the Hubert H. Humphrey award from the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) in 2013. He recently received an Alumni Merit award from Creighton.
Greenwood is an adjunct professor and preceptor at both our college and Creighton University, where he also serves on the Dean’s advisory committee.
