The Clinical Coordinator oversees the daily activities of the medication use process, provides comprehensive pharmacy services and performs the duties of a registered pharmacist as defined by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy and HonorHealth. The Clinical Coordinator provides research and documentation for pharmacy initiatives and initiates, implements and monitors pharmacy programs. The successful candidate will have to demonstrate competencies during the orientation process. They must demonstrate proficiency with Pharmacist I and II (Clinical Pharmacist) responsibilities. Position Summary: Under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator and Pharmacy Leadership Team, the Critical Care Clinical Specialist provides expertise in clinical activities relating to critical care clinical programs for the pharmacy department in order to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Critical Care Clinical Specialist will facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of programs that promote desirable patient care through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies. Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years hospital practice experience with strong clinical pharmacy background or PGY1 ASHP-accredited residency trained. Pharmacy residency precepting experience.
