The eHealth Innovation Lab is seeking to hire pharmacy students to assist with lab projects and clinical research studies.
The Innovation Lab is an interdisciplinary team consisting of health care professionals, computer scientists, engineers, economists, and statisticians. Projects involve using technology to improve patient care, outcomes, and the healthcare experience.
This opportunity would require students to interact directly with clinical pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to recruit, enroll, consent, and educate research subjects. Other responsibilities include data collection, including data entry and verification, chart reviews, patient interviews, and user experience testing. Students will be exposed to technology used in health care, IRB processes, aspects of clinical research, and human centered design.
Hours Needed: Up to 40 hours per week during the summer
Rate of Pay: $11.50 per hour.
Duration of Project: Summer work. There may be the opportunity to work long-term if interested.
