Duties include: * Working with the head of team in Houston to cover the broad range of science and innovation developments in the South and South West * Contributing to reports for UK stakeholders including senior scientists, learned societies, UK policy makers, Government Ministers and Parliament * Supporting high-level visits relating to science and innovation * Horizon-scanning developments in science, technology and policy * Managing projects (such as workshops and visit programmes)to successful completion * Supporting broader Consulate initiatives in support of UK prosperit OnePoint Patient Care is one of the pioneers in the hospice industry. Job Requirements * Provide clinical consultative services to patients and therapeutic recommendations to nurses, physicians, and other hospice personnel. * Conduct and evaluate medication profiles/histories, assess compliance and suggest modifications in order to optimize medication regimens using sound clinical pharmacy principles, accounting for pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic variations in drug absorption, distribution, metabolism and elimination to achieve desired therapeutic outcomes. * Answer customer questions and help resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner. * Enter, access, and retrieve data in the pharmacy system. * Transcribe, verify, and fill prescription orders. * Maintain proper storage and security conditions for medications. * Contribute to the maintenance of a productive and error-free work environment by keeping pharmacy workspaces neat and orderly. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: * Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, with special emphasis on effective telephone correspondence with a customer-first attitude. * Excellent problem solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize. * Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain courteous and professional composure during stressful situations. * Ability to work cooperatively with both pharmacists and technicians. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: * Pharmacist License that is current and in good standing with the State Board. * Doctor of Pharmacy Degree -or- BS Pharmacy Degree. * 1-3 years of related professional experience * Good academic and/or corporate background in science and innovation * Highly motivated, organised, and resourceful * Proven interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with members of the public, science community, and senior government officials * Good writing and communication skills with the ability to produce clear reports and to present effectively to a range of audiences * Knowledge of UK science and innovation strengths and capabilities is a plus but not required * Effective team player capable with working with local and regional teams * Reliable, positive and open to new ways of working Apply Here:
