The good news is that if you're going out on the academic job market(s), there is support for you and your search here at the University of Iowa. In addition to support from faculty mentors, the Graduate College’s Grad Success Center also helps students who are going through the process of finding and applying for academic jobs at every stage from developing and drafting materials to interview and negotiations.
The Grad Success Center is offering open office hours focused on each of the most common academic job documents. Drop in to ask a question, chat with other students, and work through challenges in crafting your academic portfolio. Join online during any or all of the sessions (HawkID and password required).
