Dr. Jeffery Molkentin, HHMI Investigator and Professor of Pediatrcs at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, will present a keynote lecture on "Mitochondrial calcium regulatory genes, cell death and metabolism in heart and skeletal muscle" on Tuesday, April 18 at 12:00pm.

Dr. Molkentin researches the molecular mechanisms underlying heart disease, focusing on necrosis - a form of cell death - and how it is regulated by mitochondria.
