The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Experimental Therapeutics in the College of Pharmacy will host a special seminar with guest speaker Scott Nelson, PhD. Nelson will speak on the topic "Investigating Plasmodium Falciparum Apicoplast DNA Polymerase as a Potential Target for Treatment and Prevention of Malaria" and is currently employed as an associate professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology at Iowa State University in Ames.
