The College of Pharmacy will host a reception to celebrate two individuals whose careers have had a tremendous impact on the national scale, and have been recently recognized as such.

Barry Carter, Patrick E. Keefe professor in the college's Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science and professor in the Carver College of Medicine's Department of Family Medicine, will be honored for receiving the 2018 Paul F. Parker Medal Award, the highest honor given by the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.

Dale Wurster, professor in the college's Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Experimental Therapeutics, will be recognized for being selected as the next president of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists.

Refreshments will be served.
