UI-ACCP is hosting a Pocket Med Card event for National Pharmacy week. With these cards, patients will have easy access to a list of their medications listing the strength, how they are taking it, and any other pertinent information. This can be crucial in case of emergency when other healthcare personnel need to know medications, and to help the patient stay updated and informed about what they take on a daily basis. Volunteers also educate the public on the importance of staying knowledgeable about their medications, along withe helping them create the cards and answering any questions.
