Severe Weather Season Preparation Tests on March 25

On March 25, 2015, around 10 a.m., there will be a statewide tornado drill. As part of this test, Johnson County and University of Iowa tornado sirens will sound. (Please note: Because of this test, the regularly-scheduled siren test on the first Wednesday of April will not be held.)

Additionally, on March 25, the National Weather Service in Iowa and Nebraska will conduct a live test of the Emergency Alert System, a national public warning system.
