College of Pharmacy student members of Phi Delta Chi will volunteer at the 2019 Cedar Rapids Walk to Defect ALS event. Volunteer activities will include pre-event setup, taking registration, and post-event cleanup.
College of Pharmacy student members of the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) will perform blood pressure and cholesterol screenings, and provide hearth healthy education at the Cardiology Clinic Health Fair.
College of Pharmacy Phi Delta Chi students will present/teach attendees phrases, words, and drug names in Spanish. This will be a collaboration series with UI-Healthcare Speaks, APhA, and SNPhA. Each organization will target the IPC module being covered at the time of the event.
