Jasmin Valentin, '19 PharmD, was recently featured as the first-ever pharmacy resident at Gibbs Pharmacy in Lebanon, Tennessee. The community pharmacy residency program is administered through the Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy Residency Program.

Dennis Erb in construction gear in new building
Dennis M. Erb started as the new executive director of University of Iowa Pharmaceuticals in July 2019. His hiring has launched an era of rapid growth in capacity, revenue, and educational opportunities through innovative new business models. Such planned growth, Erb believes, can dramatically improve healthcare for patients.

Lyle D. Bighley and Dennis Helling have been named the 2019 recipients of the Osterhaus Medal for Lifetime Achievement and will be honored at a ceremony during Homecoming festivities in October.

Greenwoods
Robert and Cheryl Greenwood have built a successful network of community pharmacies in Iowa, and in doing so, have built a strong relationship with the UI College of Pharmacy. The Greenwoods have offered dozens of pharmacy students community pharmacy experience in their businesses, and have given back to the college in numerous other ways.
