On Nov. 20, 2014, PhD candidate Quynh Hoa Nguyen successfully defended her PhD thesis to the Division of Pharmaceutics and Translational Therapeutics.Quynh’s thesis title was “Risk assessment for drug degradation products using physiologically-based pharmacokinetic models.”

John Swegle, PharmD, associate professor (clinical) was recently installed as president of the Iowa Pharmacy Association (IPA) for the 2014-2015 term. Dr. Swegle began his pharmaceutical career after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Drake University.
