Donned with hard hats, vests, and safety goggles, 18 members of the Iowa Building Development Committee toured the College of Pharmacy's new building, still under construction, on Thursday, September 20.

Grad Students Sign the Beam
More than 100 students, faculty, alumni, board members, and friends of the college signed one of the final steel beams for the new building in May.

A crowd of more than 100 — including students clad in white coats and legislative dignitaries — gathered Thursday for an official groundbreaking of the long-awaited $96.3 million project that will replace the 55-year-old pharmacy facilities which sits just east of the UI Hospitals and Clinics.
