Jasmin Valentin, '19 PharmD, was recently featured as the first-ever pharmacy resident at Gibbs Pharmacy in Lebanon, Tennessee. The community pharmacy residency program is administered through the Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy Residency Program.

Dennis M. Erb started as the new executive director of University of Iowa Pharmaceuticals in July 2019. His hiring has launched an era of rapid growth in capacity, revenue, and educational opportunities through innovative new business models. Such planned growth, Erb believes, can dramatically improve healthcare for patients.

When Beth Young graduated from Augustana College in Illinois with degrees in chemistry and math, she didn’t foresee a future in pharmacy. But a series of life events and personal encounters eventually led her to the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, where she is pursuing her doctorate degree.

At their May 2019 meeting, the Board of Regents, State of Iowa, approved the following College of Pharmacy faculty promotions. Promotions are an official confirmation of each faculty member's academic accomplishments, and the value of their contributions in their respective fields.  Promotions will become official on July 1, 2019.
