At their May 2019 meeting, the Board of Regents, State of Iowa, approved the following College of Pharmacy faculty promotions. Promotions are an official confirmation of each faculty member's academic accomplishments, and the value of their contributions in their respective fields. Promotions will become official on July 1, 2019.
The UI College of Pharmacy and UI Graduate College proudly hosted commencement ceremonies yesterday and today for 103 Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) graduates and eight Doctoral Degree (PhD) graduates with a concentration in Pharmacy.
Listening to mentors and trusting his gut guided Nic Mastascusa, '08 PharmD, to a little-known specialty that he is passionate about: Nuclear pharmacy.
"I knew this field was for me the moment I first stepped foot into the nuclear pharmacy in Cedar Rapids that I now manage," said Mastascusa of Hot Shots Nuclear Medicine.
