The University of Iowa College of Pharmacy will consider applications from U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, Canadian and other foreign citizens.
The University of Iowa College of Pharmacy does not offer a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) completion program for graduates of foreign pharmacy schools. All candidates must apply to enter the first-year of the four-year PharmD program regardless of previous education. Students in the program must complete all graduation requirements to be eligible to receive the Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
All pharmacy prerequisite courses should be completed at a regionally accredited college or university in the United States or an English-speaking college or university in Canada that is a member of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada.
