- The University of Iowa College of Pharmacy will consider applications from U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, Canadian and other foreign citizens.
- The University of Iowa College of Pharmacy does not offer a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) completion program for graduates of foreign pharmacy schools. All candidates must apply to enter the first-year of the four-year PharmD program regardless of previous education. Students in the program must complete all graduation requirements to be eligible to receive the Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
- All pharmacy prerequisite courses should be completed at a regionally accredited college or university in the United States or an English-speaking college or university in Canada that is a member of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada.
