Students help to coordinate a service project to de-worm school aged kids in Xicotepec, Mexico. Prior to travel, students participate in an elective course called “International Perspectives: Xicotepec.” The 3 semester hour course is designed to provide multidisciplinary students with knowledge and skills to provide services to a community is a less-developed nation. The experience is offered in conjunction with Rotary International. Upon return, students present their experience.
