Ardery Recognized for Excellence
Gail Ardery, a research manager in the department of Pharmacy Practice and Science, was among a select group of UI students, faculty, staff, and alumni recognized with the university’s highest honors at the annual Finkbine Dinner on April 9. She was the recipient of a Hancher-Finkbine Medallion recognizing leadership, learning, and loyalty.
“Her curiosity and knowledge have been critical to not only the day-to-day operations of our research team, but also numerous publications and NIH grant applications we have developed,” according to Professor Barry Carter, who nominated Gail. “Physicians and clinical pharmacy investigators from around the country look to Gail to answer questions and address critical issues regarding the conduct of our complex studies. Gail is always the ‘go to’ person for all of the investigators.”
