Graduate Students Celebrate December Commencement

When the University of Iowa Graduate College celebrated its commencement on Dec. 16, five College of Pharmacy students were among those recognized. The commencement was held at Hancher Auditorium, and was attended by friends, family, and mentors of the graduates.

As part of the quality team, he receives raw materials used in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. The team samples the materials for analysis and hold them in quarantine until approved for use.

UI College of Pharmacy students and alumni attended the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) Annual Meeting Oct. 15-19 in New Orleans. The college’s NCPA student chapter was voted to receive the NCPA Foundation’s National Chapter of the Year Award, and Randy McDonough was named the NCPA 2016 Willard B. Simmons Independent Pharmacist of the Year.
