Amber M Goedken
- Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science / Division of Health Services Research
Dr. Goedken’s primary research interest is child and adolescent health. Specifically, her focus is on health conditions that result in activity limitations in children, such as asthma and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. She is particularly interested in the impact of policies (e.g. drug utilization management policies) on the management of health conditions and children’s activity limitations. Her current projects include examinations of the use of medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders in children and adolescents enrolled in Medicaid nationwide and the geographic variation in the use of controller treatment for persistent asthma in children in Medicaid across the US.
