Biography

Dr. Fisher received her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy residency and a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics.

Dr. Fisher serves as the as a clinical pharmacy specialist in the Palliative Care Clinic at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Research Narrative

Dr. Fisher's primary research interest is exploring innovative practice models for integrating palliative care into the ambulatory care setting.

Clinical Narrative

Dr. Fisher serves as a clinical pharmacy specialist in the Supportive and Palliative Care Clinic at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. The interprofessional palliative care team cares for patients suffering with serious and/or life-limiting illnesses by providing symptom management and exploring goals of care. Dr. Fisher provides evidence-based, patient-centered medication recommendations to align with patient goals.
