Homecoming 2012 marks the 100th anniversary for homecoming celebrations on the University of Iowa campus. And, as in years past, the College of Pharmacy has exciting events planned for students and visiting alumni.

On Thursday, September 27, designated guests will celebrate the college’s latest endowed professorship, the Veale Professorship in Healthcare Policy.

Friday, September 28, the college will again offer a cardiovascular update through the Collaborative Education Institution. The day’s session will focus on advances in anticoagulation treatments.

Also on Friday, the College of Pharmacy Executive Leadership Board will be holding their annual meeting at the BioVentures Center in the University of Iowa Research Park.

That evening, the classes of 1952, 1962, 1972, 1987, and 2002 will be celebrated at the Recognition Reception. During the reception, the college will also recognize the 2012 recipients of the Distinguished and Honorary Alumni Awards and the Osterhaus Medal for Lifetime Achievement.

Finally, on Saturday, September 29, alumni, students, and friends of the College of Pharmacy are invited to stop by the Pharmacy Building for a tailgate and building tours prior to the big game.
