The University of Iowa College of Pharmacy students took home the first place prize for overall student organization for the fourth consecutive year during Homecoming week, September 23-29. Placement is determined based on attendance, ranking, and participation in a variety of activities throughout the week.

Students participated in the parade float competition, United Way 5K, blood drive, and Ruckus at the Rec competition. Additionally, pharmacy students participated in a penny wars competition between classes, with proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity and the Cold Stone Competition, coining the flavor Gopher Takedown.
