On Wednesday, January 23, College of Pharmacy Dean Donald Letendre welcomed Debi Durham, Director of the Iowa Economic Development Authority. Ms. Durham visited with Dean Letendre, students, and other college representatives about the economic development facets of the college, namely, University of Iowa Pharmaceuticals and the High Throughput Screening Facility. Following, she had the opportunity to tour research labs and the educational components of the college. 

As part of the initiative to increase awareness of the college, key state leaders are invited to tour the facilities and visit with the Dean and other College of Pharmacy representatives. Dean Letendre shares stories and educates visitors on the breadth and depth of the college’s successful programs, graduates, and its statewide impact.
