Adam Harris (’09 PharmD), Eagle River, Alaska, was recently honored by the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) as Employee of the Year. The ANTHC honors staff members each year who stand out for exceptional dedication and innovation, for embodying its mission and vision, and for contributing significant achievements during the past year.

Lieutenant Commander Harris is currently a Clinical Quality Analyst with the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) and has been with the ANTHC since 2009. He played a vital role in organizing, preparing and successfully leading ANMC through the Joint Commission and CMS surveys which resulted in the least number of findings in hospital history. He was responsible for overseeing the command center during the surveys and played a key and vital role during the visits.

His dedication, innovation, and efforts inspire his fellow ANTHC staff and partners and make a positive difference in the health of Alaska Native and American Indian people. Congratulations!
