Aliasger Salem, Lyle and Sharon Bighley Endowed Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Experimental Therapeutics, and head of the Division of Pharmaceutics and Translational Therapeutics, and George Weiner, director of the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, received a three-year, $600,000 grant from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to develop an improved technique for using nanoparticles in a new type of lymphoma immunotherapy.
