Michael Parisi-Mercado—a Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health candidate at the UI College of Pharmacy—has been awarded a Fulbright Research Award in Public Health. With this Fulbright, he will travel to Romania during the 2019-20 school year to help pharmacists there improve the health and care of patients living with HIV and/or AIDS.
Parisi-Mercado is the second student from the UI College of Pharmacy to receive this prestigious award.
