Health Sciences Research Day, sponsored by the Carver College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, Institute for Clinical and Translational Science and VA Health System Research Day, was held on Saturday, April 27 at the Iowa Memorial Union in Iowa City. The event included a keynote lecture given by Dr. Christopher Austin, Director of the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, as well as a poster session, mini-symposia and vendor/research services fair.
