Harold “Hal” Jackson, '62 BSPh, will be honored this week for receiving a 2019 Hawkeye Distinguished Veterans Award. The award honors distinguished members of the armed forces who have demonstrated exceptional service to both the United States and their communities. Jackson served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1954 during the Korean War, and practiced pharmacy in his hometown of Winterset, Iowa, for decades.
