The University of Iowa Mobile Clinic is partnering with the Johnson County Department of Public Health (JCPH) in an effort to provide health care to local, underserved populations who are statistically more likely to be affected by COVID-19. The College of Pharmacy is included in the Mobile Clinic's team of health care providers who are working to make healthcare more accessible to the Iowa City community and surrounding locations.

“With the COVID vaccinations, we’ve all worked together to develop policies, procedures, additional resources, and have recruited additional health care providers to sites to collaborate with the team,” says Jeanine Abrons, PharmD, clinical associate professor in the College of Pharmacy. “We’ve used our diverse skills to make this vaccine more accessible to the surrounding community.”
