Doctor of Pharmacy student Milagro Michels-Cordao is being honored this spring with a 2022 Diversity Catalyst Award.  The Catalyst Awards recognize university community members who engage in D.E.I initiatives and promote the development of an inclusive and diverse campus community.   Michels-Cordao has been deeply involved with the Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP), first as a participant and later as a fellow.  She is also a COVID-19 Immunization Clinic Coordinator with the UI Mobile Clinic, a traveling health clinic that provides free health screenings, prevention, and education to underserved populations in and around Iowa City.  The full story may be found here.
