Marissa Stewart's priority is to make a difference in patients' lives.  Stewart has always been a caregiver, being dubbed 'the mom of the siblings' by her family.  A first-generation college student, she always took care of her siblings.

In 2020, college leadership asked her to help organize COVID-19 vaccine clinics across the state and encourage classmates, colleagues, and faculty to assist with injections.  They ultimately vaccinated more than 6,000 individuals across ten counties.  Stewart stated that her leadership skills grew immensely, "Learning how to communicate with other pharmacists, working with students, and adapting to a constantly changing pandemic made me step outside my comfort zone."
