Mary Ray Headshot Sept 2024

Mary E. Ray, associate dean of academic affairs, has been selected to serve as an inaugural ambassador for the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).

The newly launched AACP Ambassador Program connects members with a resource at their college. In this role, Ray will serve as a liaison between the UI College of Pharmacy and AACP, sharing information about the college’s members, activities, and accomplishments while helping advance the association’s mission. She will answer faculty and staff questions about AACP and help them explore ways to become involved. Ray will also connect colleagues with networking and professional development opportunities to help them make the most of their membership.

Ray has long been involved with AACP through committee service, leadership development programs, national meetings, and collaborations with colleagues across the country.

“Faculty and staff at the College of Pharmacy are all AACP members,” Ray said. “I look forward to helping colleagues make the most of their membership by connecting them with opportunities that align with their interests and career goals. AACP has enriched my professional experience so greatly.”
