The curriculum within the first year of pharmacy school includes simulated training to earn vaccination certification. Not only do students learn how to give shots, what's in the vials, and how to spot a medication reaction that could cause problems, they also learn to visit with patients who are hesitant to get vaccinated.  Read more from the Cedar Rapids Gazette, here.
